Our Story
In 2025, FORGE began as an effort to open Boston’s first queer bathhouse in almost 30 years.
Until we find a permanent space, we host regular popup events featuring bodywork, connection, and relaxation for Boston’s LGBTQ+ community.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Eventually, FORGE will be a bathhouse where queer people can gather, relax, and connect. For now, it’s a series of events by and for queer people at wellness spaces around Boston.
-
Like other bathhouses, we are a safe space for expression and physicality. We are also different in that we provide classes and workshops, and we cater to a variety of subcommunities and gender identities.
-
Yes, you’re welcome but be mindful of your impact on the queer-centered space and be prepared to explore your queerer side.
-
Unfortunately, until we have a permanent location, we can only hold events on specific dates with advance ticket sales. Events tend to sell out and there are usually no tickets at the door.
-
We announce events on Instagram as well as our email list. Typically, upcoming events are posted during the last week of each month.

We need volunteers! Email hello@forge-boston.com if you’d like to help with setup, lend supplies, lead a wellness offering, or introduce us to new spaces.
